Welcome to St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Much Hadham. We very much hope you enjoy browsing our website and finding out about our vibrant school.

St Andrew’s sits in the heart of Much Hadham, serving families from the village and surrounding areas including Bishop’s Stortford, Puckeridge, Ware and Sawbridgeworth.

We offer our children an inclusive, caring and nurturing environment where each individual is encouraged to reach their full potential in all areas of our broad and balanced curriculum. Our last OFSTED inspection in 2023 noted: ‘Adults have extremely high expectations of all pupils. Pupils tackle their work in class with great excitement and belief that they will succeed.’  We are extremely proud of our sporting, musical, artistic and academic achievements and offer all of our children the opportunity to live ‘Life in All Its Fullness’.

Our dedicated team of staff model and promote excellent learning behaviours. The emphasis we place on recognising and celebrating effort and success means every pupil feels valued and respected.

The accent is on the positive. In the Bible St Paul writes:

‘Never have any grudges against others, or lose your temper, or raise your voice to anybody, or call each other names, or allow any sort of spitefulness. Be friends with one another, and be kind, forgiving each other as readily as God forgave you in Christ.’        Ephesians 4 : 31 and 32
